AOPA China to expand its international cooperation network in Canada
February 27, 2013- AOPA China gladly met with Canadian Embassy Ontario International Marketing Center (IMC) Beijing, Ms. Ginger Jing, and Greater Peterborough Economic Development Corporation (GPAEDC) President and CEO Mr. Dan Taylor to discuss the means of future cooperation.
GPAEDC is a financial economic development corporation exploring investment and business with China. Their strategic plan aims do develop Canada’s Peterborough area through four main pillars: agriculture and rural development, manufacturing and small business, tourism and innovation.
Included in these pillars, aviation plays a key role and will most likely become one of their top products in the near future making an aviation hub country like China, a key cooperation partner.
Peterborough Municipal Airport facilities offer not only recently renovated facilities, but also an original and unexploited business and transportation niche. It hosts important aviation manufacturing and technology players including leading Flying Colors Corp.
Regarding General Aviation news, GPAEDC will be hosting COPA’s 2014 annual meeting on June 20-22 therefore reaffirming their commitment to the promotion and support of global GA.
Canada through the Canadian Embassy in China has been very supportive of AOPA China and we are now proud to add one more partner to our Canadian group. More importantly this represents the beginning of a new friendship for AOPA China and the continuous work of both countries towards joint social and commercial development.
AOPA China welcomes all international cooperation keen to promote international GA development.
Welcome to AOPA China.
