Recently, China introduced its first flight regulation comic book called: “AOPA teaches you flight regulations” . China Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA China) and China Academy of Civil Aviation Science and Technology created this comic book in an effort to improve and extend general aviation awareness in China and bring the audience an innovative learning methodology. The regulations contained in this book include: civil aircraft pilot, flight instructor and ground instructor certification rules (according to unit CCAR-61); general operating and flight rules (according to unit CCAR-91); the division and operation of the public air transport of large aircraft carrier certification rules (according to unit CCAR-121). These books interpret the regulations and deliver them in an easy-to-digest approach while providing the readers with all the information they’d need to understand and correctly abide by the above mentioned standards and regulations. The book explains flight related terms, pilot license requirements, in-flight regulations, and alcohol and drug-related standards in a lively way while representing high national authoritarian standards. This book is aimed at flight and related studies college students or trainees, air traffic controllers and other aviation personnel, related management staff and employees, flight enthusiasts and all prospect pilots. It is also important complementary reading material for those interested in taking the flight theory test. The flight regulations theoretical exam is threshold to become a pilot. These comic strips have been launched with the goal of helping the reader visualize and distinguish easily confused and difficult knowledge and information. Innovative educational reforms are constantly pushing towards the exploration of new teaching methods and the aviation industry is no exception. In an attempt to overtake this challenge, AOPA China has published the "AOPA helps you study flight regulations" comic book and keeps working on the creation and development of different programs and channels through which general aviation theory and culture can be expanded and promoted.
