The Second China Low-altitude Economy Summit ended in Shenyang

Today’s noontime, The Second China Low-altitude Economy Summit and AOPA-China Annual Meeting successfully ended in Shenyang Crowne Plaza. Guo Yang, a deputy secretary general of AOPA-China, gave closing remarks. This time, breaking through and innovation were the topic of discussion. There were nearly 600 people from local government, research institution, general aviation, international organization and media attended that meeting. Leaders and distinguished guests discussed lots of questions in development of aviation, they proposed a great deal of advice that pushing the evolution in low altitude airspace, using the power of aviation to promote local economy, the progress and resource allocation of business aircraft, training talent staff in aviation, establishing industry chain in general aviation and other problems. All of them are trying their best to impel enterprise development.

There are many leaders from various departments attending this summit, such as Liang Chaoping who is the leader of discipline inspection group in Civil Aviation Administration of China, deputy mayor of Shenyang government Huang Kai, Zhu Shicai from supervision department of Office of State ATC Commission of China, North China Reg. Administration of CAAC’s deputy director general Liu Chunchen, President of Operations and International Affairs Craig Spence, Deputy Director of Office in State Air Traffic Control Commission of China Liu Gang, AOPA-China’s Vice President Hao Jianhua, Secretary General of AOPA-China Zhang Feng.

On the morning of the August 23rd, academician of Chinese Engineering Academy & President of Shenyang Aerospace University Yang Fengtian, President of Operations and International Affairs Craig Spence, Beihang University general aviation industry research center director Gao Yuanyang and Secretary of CPC Faku Committee Feng Shouquan did wonderful performances respectively. For instance, Director Gao’s presented development condition nowadays and the feasible path to future of China General Aviation. He divided his speech into four parts, such as the multifarious prospect, development situation, judging and understanding in current circumstances, the pattern and methods of future’s growth. From above, he analyzed position and future trend of today’s general aviation thoroughly.

That afternoon, the forum separated into two venues. In the first meeting room, there were many guests making speech in how to establish industrial chain of general aviation and the combination with other associated industry. President of CNATY Ma Hao, macro economy institute in Central University of Finance and Economics director Gao Chihai, President of Baize consulting agency Wang Kai, chief researcher and assistant to director of Industrial Security Zeng Xu performed their opinions. Among their lectures, Mr. Gao talked about the choices of feasibility ways in low altitude travel. By his showing, we could see various advancing methods in travelling on low altitude, and he let us know our tomorrow image in low altitude tourism if we explored it from the view of macro-economy.

Two specialists of Aircraft Manufacturer and Experimental Aircraft Committee of AOPA-China Hou Min and Gou Xin shared their ideas with other people. The presentation shown by Gou Xin was referring to how to regulate our experimental aircraft system and promote our experimental aircraft orderly. He said, we should start policy making work as soon as possible, work hard at learning experience from neighbors and European countries. Considering our present situation, he thought we had to formulate policies accordingly. By the way, he emphasized we should not follow the rules and regulations in United States blindly.

In the morning of August 24th, the deputy director of general aviation department in department of flight standards of CAAC Chen Guangcheng, General Aviation department Deputy Director of China Civil Aviation Administration Cadre College Li Haipeng, J & O Associates Ltd. Managing director Paul Chu did their speech. Especially, Mr. Chu introduced the private pilot training in Canada briefly that made us acquire experience conveniently.

In the final, the summit was ended with great acclaim. This was the second time of Low Altitude summit, it’s also the second time of AOPA-China held such summit. We hope we can keep on making that summit be held, and attempt to build a great atmosphere, in order to letting more and more people understand general aviation.
