Tecnam reports success at SUN ‘n FUN

Tecnam reports its most successful visit ever to the SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-In & Expo at Lakeland, Florida, with both the announcement of the launch of Tecnam USA Inc.’s dedicated facilities in Sebring, Florida, and sales orders on 12 Tecnam aircraft.

Led by Tecnam USA Inc. Director of Sales, Shannon Yeager, the new dedicated USA based Tecnam team confirmed sales orders for 12 Tecnam aircraft, including the Tecnam Astore next-generation LSA, the P2008 and P2006T Twin.

Tecnam highlights at SUN ‘n FUN 2014 included:

The announcement of the establishment of the TECNAM US Inc. customer delivery center, assembly facility and U.S. headquarters at the Sebring Regional Airport in Florida and the creation of a nationwide sales and customer support network.

Regional TECNAM US Inc. Sales and Tecnam Service Centers include:

  • HOVA (Heart of Virginia Aviation) located in Virginia
  • West Coast Sport Aircraft, Inc. located in California
  • Midwest Company located in Minnesota

All locations will have Tecnam aircraft available for demonstration flights.

The TECNAM US Inc. Sebring facility will be the North American center for:

  • Customer Service and Support
  • Spare Parts
  • Re-assembly (both LSA and Part 23 certified aircraft)
  • Sales and Marketing

TECNAM US Inc. and its sales agents will initially market and promote three Light Sport Aircraft: The Tecnam P2008 LSA, Astore LSA and P92 Eaglet LSA. Also available will be two Part 23 certified models, The P Twenty-Ten and P2006T light twin.

Other Tecnam models, such as the P2002 Sierra, P92 Echo Light and P92 Tail Dragger, are available on request to address specific customer missions.

The Tecnam Astore (pictured) is a new two seat, low wing, single-engine airplane that features the new Garmin G3X touch screen glass flight display system. The airframe is entirely built in metal with fairings and upper radome in carbon/glass fiber with epoxy matrix.

The Tecnam Astore next-generation Light Sports Aircraft has achieved full FAA special airworthiness certification and was unveiled to North America’s GA community at SUN ‘n FUN.
